Director, Technology Integration Engineer

onsemi  is currently seeking a Senior Technology Integration Engineer to be responsible for the introduction of new technology nodes in silicon carbide power transistors. This person will be a member of the Silicon Carbide Technology Development team in the Power Solutions Group. They will serve as the Engineering Technology Owner throughout the development life cycle of next-generation power devices. The Engineering Technology Owner is the chief engineer responsible for leading technical cross-functional execution to ensure meeting performance and reliability requirements. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead development projects by coordinating all groups within the Technology Development team to qualify new technology nodes in silicon carbide power devices The ETO is responsible for the technical deliverables at all phase-gates throughout the product development cycle  Project scope will include co-development with backend Packaging Engineering team to enable qualifications across all package and module platforms Responsible for ensuring that Program Managers have an accurate technical risk plan and approve the team construction plan Prepare collateral to communicate status and projections to internal team or customers Summarizes and presents reports of technology reliability and manufacturability

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing . or . in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science or closely related discipline Extensive experience with process integration and reliability issues Experience in managing projects with matrixed responsibility  Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills Comfortable in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including presenting and explaining technical issues to executive management Able to travel internationally 3-4 times per year
