Job Description Summary

:Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, responsible for coordinating and performing all office functions, and providing administrative support services relating to the Human Resource Department.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate data entry of all information relating to department reports and functions. Perform word processing of letters, memorandums, minutes, reports, and other correspondence as needed. Schedule meetings, in-services, and appointments. Place/receive telephone, fax, and e-mail communications for the Director and department in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain and update departmental manuals, policies/procedures, job descriptions and other appropriate departmental files and staff records. Obtain supplies necessary for the department to function, utilizing the ProClick Materials system and E-Way electronic ordering system, while monitoring inventories and budget.  Sort and distribute department mail daily. Coordinate and communicate issues and concerns within the department and with the various WTH system departments and Administrative offices. Represent the department on various committees. Answer inquiries of all aspects of the department in the absence of the Director or Managers. Coordinate rounding schedule for department leadership. Complete expense reports for the Executive Director. Perform other various pertinent Human Resource Department activities and related responsibilities as required or directed. Qualifications

EDUCATION: Associates degree in business, healthcare or related field preferred, or commensurate experience of two (2) years in addition to minimum experience requirement.

EXPERIENCE:

Ability to perform office procedures efficiently. Must possess knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures as acquired through a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the health care system.
