Overview

The D405 Digital Enterprise (DE) Organization is searching for a dedicated and long-term oriented Program Representative to join our team. This unique opportunity involves working closely with an expert who will transfer their specialized knowledge across various areas critical to our organization. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in absorbing and retaining this invaluable information to ensure its continuity within the organization. This role is designed for someone who values a long-term career and is committed to becoming an integral part of the team. 

This position will be responsible for oversight of the planning and execution of Electric Boat’s digital capabilities to support the digital transformation plan for both current and future submarine programs. The Program Rep will provide direction to other value stream representatives throughout the business and IT. The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Digital Transformation funding, resource planning, and execution management Directorate Commitment reporting & overhead surveillance DE project and ITCR Performance metrics DE project and ITCR Block Turnover metrics

The successful candidate will be:

A highly-motivated problem solver, with a passion for data mining & manipulation. Customer-focused and have excellent project management and communication skills. Skilled at problem identification, investigation, and resolution of tasking through completion.

Electric Boat offers Flexible Work Arrangements that allows some work to be performed remotely at home. This varies from position to position based on the amount of classified material the department interacts with a well as a few other variables. Please ask for more details on how it applies to this opening during discussions with the department.

Qualifications

Required:

High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in Digital Enterprise, IT, Engineering, Program Office, Process Improvement or a combination of these areas; 2+ years’ experience in Process Improvement satisfies this requirement.

Preferred:

BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business. Alternate degrees will be considered Experience with manpower planning, performance management, progressing, commitment, and quality reporting systems Experience with managing projects Experience working with EB Information Technology and/or Program Office

Skills

Well-developed communication (verbally and written), organizational, and time management skills Demonstrated experience in problem resolution and root cause analysis Proven ability to solve problems independently and work collaboratively with teammates Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (pivot tables, macros, etc.), SharePoint, Power BI and Artemis
