Part-Time Digital Marketing Technologist

What Does It Take to Get the Job? It Takes Ownership, Obu is looking for a skilled professional who will be accountable for:
- Back-End Web Development & Optimization: Assist with back-end web development tasks that support marketing campaigns, such as setting up tracking systems, implementing marketing automation workflows, and integrating marketing tools with backend systems.
- Collaborate with lead web developer and designer to develop and optimize websites for marketing purposes. This may involve optimizing site performance and creating landing pages for specific campaigns utilizing CMS platforms such as WordPress and WebFlow.
- Troubleshooting: Respond to and resolve technical issues related to marketing technology tools, systems, and platforms. This may include diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with software applications, hardware devices, network connectivity, and system integrations.
- Integration Implement and manage marketing technology tools and platforms such as CRM systems (Salesforce), marketing automation software, content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, and analytic tools. This involves integrating these tools with other systems within the company.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for marketing technology systems, processes, and procedures. This includes documenting configuration settings, troubleshooting steps, user guides, and best practices to facilitate knowledge-sharing and training.
- Stay Updated on Marketing Technology Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in marketing technology and digital marketing strategies. Evaluate new tools and technologies and make recommendations to web developer for their adoption based on business needs and objectives.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in digital marketing, web development, marketing technology, project management, or related areas can enhance credibility and demonstrate proficiency in specific skills and technologies.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are crucial for troubleshooting technical issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Experience documenting processes, configurations, and integrations for an organization or a willingness to learn to do so.
- Strong technical proficiency including back-end development frameworks.
- Digital marketing skills with a solid understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
- Demonstrate a meticulous approach to your work — display a highly organized and focused process and a thorough ability to execute.
- Experience with marketing technology tools and platforms such as CRM systems, marketing automation software, content management systems (CMS), analytics tools, and advertising platforms. Proficiency in configuring and integrating these tools is highly valuable.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines is important.
- Adapt to different tasks and shift priorities as needed.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow)
