Job Description

Your role in helping us shape the football (Soccer if your American) future:

OleOle is seeking a highly skilled individual for the role of Historical Football Interactive Platform Developer and Content Creator. The ideal candidate should possess:

1. **Expertise in Web Development:** Strong proficiency in web technologies, frameworks, and languages to build a sophisticated interactive platform.

2. **Content Creation:** Experience in generating engaging and accurate content related to the history of around 24,000 professional men's and women's football teams globally. Familiarity with generative AI tools for content creation is crucial.

3. **Automation Skills:** Proficiency in automation tools and processes to streamline platform development and content generation efficiently.

4. **Database Management:** Knowledge of database systems to organize and manage vast amounts of historical football data.

5. **Domain Knowledge:** In-depth understanding of football history, including the ability to curate and present information in an engaging manner.

6. **UI/UX Design:** Capability to create an intuitive and visually appealing user interface for an enhanced user experience. (We have a design team in house.)

7. **Collaboration Skills:** Ability to work with a team of developers, designers, and content creators to achieve project goals.

8. **Innovation:** A creative and innovative mindset to go beyond existing platforms like Wikipedia, bringing unique features and interactivity to the historical football narrative.

9. **Project Management:** Strong organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines and ensure the successful execution of the platform.

10. **Continuous Learning:** Willingness to stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in both web development and football history.

Combining technical prowess, creative content generation, and a deep passion for football, this individual will play a key role in creating a dynamic and comprehensive historical football platform that sets itself apart from existing resources like Wikipedia.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role should have a technical background with expertise in:

1. **Web Development:** Proficiency in languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular for building an interactive platform.

2. **Backend Development:** Knowledge of server-side languages (e.g., Python, , PHP) and experience with database systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) for robust data management.

3. **AI and Machine Learning:** Practical experience using AI tools for content generation, such as natural language processing (NLP) and generative models. This could involve utilizing frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

4. **Automation:** Skills in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python scripts, CI/CD pipelines) to automate aspects of platform development and content creation.

5. **UI/UX Design:** Understanding of user interface and user experience principles to create an engaging and intuitive platform.

For AI applications, the candidate should be using AI to enhance user experience, perhaps by employing natural language generation (NLG) for generating historical content, sentiment analysis for user feedback, or recommendation systems for personalized user interactions.

In terms of content expertise, the candidate should bring:

1. **Football History Knowledge:** A deep understanding of the history of football, including key events, players, and teams across different eras and regions.

2. **Data Curation Skills:** Ability to curate and organize vast amounts of football-related data in a coherent and accessible manner.

3. **Research Skills:** Proficiency in researching historical football facts and events to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness.
