This position plays a key role in the Operational Management team in developing and implementing internal strategies, objectives, and goals for the Management of Accounts within the Operations Fulfilment organization. This position partners with Sales, Supply Chain & Logistics to provide responsive customer support and develop plans to address customer related business needs and challenges.


 Responsibilities:

 

Manages account requirements and order fulfilment processes. Develops internal/external relationships resulting in high levels of performance. Acts as the primary point of contact for the customer escalations for operational issues and for driving the issue to resolution. Develops a direct relationships with the customer; responsible for sponsoring the Aviat Networks brand within the customer's organization and for acting as the customers champions within Aviat Networks. Conducts and facilitates recurring calls with Key customers operations and the Aviat Networks team to review each order and its progress. Discusses pending shipments and specific delivery requirements Ensures that On Time In Full delivery does not fall below 92% on all orders and publishes monthly tracking reports Acts as a liaison with Sales & Territory Managers and when required, provides updates on account statuses. Manages a department of 5+ OF planners Manages the team to track customer request dates & works with the operations team for orders to ensure there are no slippages, liaising with the customer to advise of timings and if required amended shipping dates Manage the team to ensure OEM drop shipments are managed with site delivery instructions Manage the team to ensure Contractual terms & conditions are understood and complied Tracks and executes orders making sure revenue goals are achieved and margins maximized  Attend weekly MGMT revenue call as key contributor for Operations to confirm equipment revenue #’s and identify and risks/ misses Works with Logistics to ensure all post manufacturing lead times are maintained Actively involved with Carrier selection/ RFP’s for material transportation Works jointly with sales on new opportunities \ quotes \ Advanced Sales Orders Oversees sales order changes and manage customer expectations of these changes Oversees production of weekly status reports to the Customer Manages the team to work with customer to ensure logistics movements are agreed and discussed up front to include providing inspection requirements, weights and dims ahead of time so that we can better plan the logistical movement, ensure shipment method matches LC \ Contract and Inco terms Coordinates Systems Integration testing and customer Field Acceptance Testing requirements Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a professional sales support, order management or customer service role preferably in a high tech industry. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Outstanding interpersonal skills. Extremely organized and detail oriented with excellent follow-up. Excellent project management skills. Proficient in PC applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Requires on-site support in Austin, TX during each quarter end. This position may require up to 10% travel in order to carry out duties of the role.
