Manager of Internal Communications

About This Role
As the Manager of Internal Communications at Compass Health Center, you’ll play a critical role in leading the development and execution of Compass’ internal communications strategy across the organization as we continue to scale. Your responsibilities will include overseeing Compass’ annual communication calendar, and devising strategies to engage the entire organization in our growth strategy and key initiatives. This position reports to the Chief People Officer, and over time may directly manage a team as we expand.What You'll Do: Develop and execute the annual internal communication calendar including quarterly leadership newsletters, performance updates, and DEI communicationsPartner closely with Senior Director of Clinical Communications to develop strategies for increasing staff engagement on Compass’ strategy and key initiativesManage Compass’ intranet site “Compass Connect” and work to optimize engagement on the platformManage Compass’ leadership SharePoint site to ensure all leaders have easy access to the information they need to do their jobs effectivelyAct as the administrator and main SME for Workshop (internal communication tool)Plan and coordinate content for all staff meetings and all people leaders and work to maximize engagement of those venues. Coordinate how the information shared in these venues cascades to site-level meetingsDevelop Compass’ annual DEI report through close collaboration with other People & Talent team leadersDevelop and maintain a high level of comprehension of Compass’ daily operations, strategic position, financial and operating objectivesWork closely with program leadership and employees to improve work relationships, create culture, build morale, and retention Who You Are: Bachelors degreeMinimum of 5 years of progressive experience in internal communicationsExcellent writing skills and proven track record of developing engaging and digestible employee communicationProven track record of using internal communication tools to develop high quality content across different mediumsExperience developing DEI communicationProficient with Microsoft SharePointProven ability to think creatively and solve complex problemsExtremely organized and detail orientedAbility to maintain calm under pressure and flex with the needs of the business/teamGreat communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with leaders and staffPositive attitude and passion for working in the mental health spaceAbility to prioritize and manage a large breadth of work About Our Team: No ego – we check that at the door.All hands on deck approach – we help each other; in the great words of Moira Rose “When one of us shines, all of us shine”.Everyone has a voice and a responsibility to use it – we commit to continuously learning from each other and our diverse backgrounds/skillsets.Direct, kind communication – we appreciate and deliver direct/candid feedback, but do so while caring personally for each other.
