This position conducts work directly related to business management operations in an organization or functional area, such as logistics financial improvement and/or logistics audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain Defense Logistics Agency Facility Sustainment Directorate Process Documentation and Reference Materials including but not limited to:
- Process Maps (typically in MS Visio and/or Adobe PDF)
- Standard Operating Procedures (MS Word)
- Handbooks (MS Word)
- Placemats (MS PowerPoint)
- Checklists
- Attend meetings to capture process document requirements from client
- Ask clarifying questions in appropriate setting.
- Facilitate client working sessions.
- Incorporate internal and external comments to process documentation in a timely manner.
- Identify and articulate opportunities for improvement to business process and documentation.
- The position includes work requiring the consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
- US National Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain required Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business from an accredited college/university preferred.
- Degree and five years' work-related experience is preferred.
- Or, five years' combination of education and directly related experience.
- Or, nine years' work-related experience - if not degreed.
- Experience with U.S. Federal government consulting and/or engagements at the Defense Logistics Agency.
- Three to five years of relevant work experience in U.S. Federal Government consulting preferred.
- Must have SAP experience with:
- Funds management
- Asset management
- Military construction
- Real property accounting
- MIPRs.
- Must have experience with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with MS Visio, a plus.
- Experience with Agile and SCRUM methodologies, a plus.
- Advanced knowledge gained from a prolonged course of specialized instruction, experience, and expertise required.
