We are hiring a District Sales Manager to be responsible for promoting and selling entire mix of Polyglass products in his/her territory while developing relationships with distribution, consultants, contractors, and architects. In addition to meeting a monthly budgeted sales plan, the DSM will help forecast trends and acquire competitive information. The DSM will drive and promote the Polyglass brand by participating in local RCI and NRCA chapter meetings and will support regional and companywide projects when needed.

What You Get To Do:

Maintains existing sales and grow additional sales at current customer base under the direction of the RSL or RMM.  Explores leads that are in an assigned geographical sales region.  Uses basic troubleshooting skills to handle minor day-to-day problem solving at assigned customers in sales region.  Reports product problems, competitive activities, and new sales opportunities at existing accounts in sales region.  Provides timely reports from the field.  Promotes the quality system through adhering to the elements of and being familiar with the philosophy, quality statement, quality manual, and procedures.  Works harmoniously and with tact and diplomacy in dealing with a broad range of people.  Effectively plans and organizes work to get efficient and effective results.  Accepts the responsibilities and obligations of the job and the consequences of one’s actions.  Acts as a formal or informal leader in the achievement of group targets.  Operates pro-actively, anticipating possible problems, opportunities and challenges.  Understands and effectively uses budgets, balance sheets, profits and other financial constraints.  Manages projects and achieve desired results efficiently and on time.  Analyzes data and prepares reports.  Ability to be flexible and manage many assignments or projects at the same time.  Leads, manages, and understands timelines and critical paths.  DSM should submit expense reports in a timely fashion  DSM should maintain a strong working knowledge of the Polyglass products and systems as well as a working knowledge of the competitions products and systems. DSM should utilize the skills of the PG coating and roofing technicians and make joint sales calls with them on a consistent basis. Performs other duties as required.

What We Look For:

Requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment.  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.  A minimum of two - five years of industry experience as a sales representative or any equivalent combination of related training and experience is required.  Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.  Travel is required.
