Role Overview:
As the Supply Chain Manager, you'll be the architect of our supply chain, leading strategies to ensure timely material supply, supplier negotiations, cost reduction initiatives, and overall production and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy to fuel our ambitious growth plans.
- Supplier Collaboration: Forge strategic alliances with global suppliers, negotiating favorable agreements and nurturing strong partnerships.
- Cost Optimization: Identify and implement innovative cost reduction strategies for materials, components, and products.
- Operational Efficiency: Drive efficient logistics for inbound and outbound freight, ensuring smooth delivery processes.
- Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to support our business needs while minimizing costs.
- New Supplier Qualification: Collaborate with engineering to identify and qualify new suppliers, mitigating supply chain risks.
- Production Planning & Forecasting: Lead forecasting initiatives and production planning adjustments based on market trends and supply chain dynamics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, R&D, business development, and finance teams to achieve shared goals.
Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of power electronics, power semiconductor products, and manufacturing processes.
- Negotiation Prowess: Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract manufacturer management.
- Supply Chain Acumen: Extensive experience managing power semiconductor suppliers and supply chain demands in a high-growth environment.
- ERP Mastery: Strong understanding of ERP systems and their implementation for information sharing and collaboration.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Exceptional leadership skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: A blend of analytical, financial, decision-making, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or CPM preferred. 10+ years of supplier management experience, including 5+ years in power semiconductor purchasing/supply chain. Small business/start-up experience a plus.
