Austin, Texas, United States Google Full time

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years in program or project management. At least 5 years of experience in a global supply chain across various disciplines within technical or networking fields. A minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity, with or without direct reports.

Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience overseeing cross-functional or inter-team projects.

Experience in supply and inventory planning, reverse supply chain management, and labor/deployment planning within the data center infrastructure sector (e.g., compute, storage, or networking). Familiarity with organizational structures (e.g., geographic dispersion) and the ability to excel in uncertain environments.

Knowledge of data networking architectures and physical network components.
Proven ability to lead and influence across various organizational levels, with experience in spearheading cross-functional process enhancements.
About the Role:

At Google, we believe that a problem is not fully resolved until it is addressed for everyone. Our products are designed to create opportunities for individuals, whether they are nearby or across the globe.

As a Program Manager, you will oversee intricate, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion — collaborating with stakeholders to outline requirements, manage project timelines, identify potential risks, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners throughout the organization.

Your projects will often encompass multiple offices, time zones, and regions. It will be your responsibility to coordinate team members and keep them informed about progress and deadlines.

Our mission is to cultivate a Google that reflects the diversity of the world around us, fostering an environment where all Googlers can thrive and grow.

Within the Global Network Infrastructure (GNI) team, we plan, acquire, construct, and manage the network infrastructure connecting Google's Data Centers to Internet Service Providers globally.

The Networking Supply Chain and Commercial Operations (NOSCO) team is dedicated to executing supply chain and commercial operations in a responsible and responsive manner to support our customers.

This team emphasizes delivering performance that enhances network reliability, ensures predictable capacity delivery, and achieves cost efficiencies.

Behind every online experience is the architecture maintained by the Technical Infrastructure team, which ensures seamless operation.

From developing and sustaining our data centers to innovating the next generation of Google platforms, we enable the entire Google product suite.

We take pride in being the engineers for our engineers, often dismantling systems to rebuild them better.

We ensure our networks remain operational, providing users with the best and fastest experience possible.

Responsibilities:

Lead the ideation, design, and execution of innovative solutions that tackle complex supply chain and logistics challenges.

Develop transformative strategies that enhance reverse supply chain operations, streamline processes, and improve the efficiency of spare parts management, warehousing, decommissioning, and reverse logistics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine capability roadmaps that detail the development and integration of new technologies, tools, and systems necessary for implementing proposed solutions.

Drive the creation of innovative solution designs that utilize industry best practices and emerging technologies to address reverse logistics challenges.

Provide leadership in design integrity throughout the program lifecycle, implement business and process changes, and offer strategic guidance to identify and enhance Supply Chain capabilities.
