Job Description
It’s an exciting time to be part of IFF, we are looking for an Account Manager to become part of our industry-leading sales team. As an Account Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to drive sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying customer needs & opportunities, and risks, with a focus on sizeable and complex accounts. The individual we are seeking will build long-term customer relationships, lead, and execute activities, and deliver relevant solutions aligned with corporate strategy.Working in a collaborative team environment, IFF will be looking for you to partner with the Creative team - Perfumers, Scent Design Group, CI and Marketing, and our scent innovation and technology group to showcase IFF's creative capabilities.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Global Account Team to develop a long-term strategy. Prepare and/or support account plans and relevant market information. Deliver yearly sales budget and execution of the business plan. Build and maintain knowledge of the customer’s industry, products, and markets to target and create sales and growth opportunities while managing customer expectation. Identify innovative solutions which meets consumer and customer needs, over and above competition. Interface with key customer decision-makers to validate and qualify opportunities in order to maximize profitability. Manage and execute complex and demanding projects by energizing and leading cross-functional teams. Partner with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of service, quality, and supply chain.

Required Skills
Strong beauty care category, market, and brand understanding. Strong interests in product development/creation, consumers, and market. Olfactive knowledge. Leadership, business minded, negotiator-facilitator, proactive, team player but able to work autonomously, knowledge of different cultures, excellent written and verbal communicator. Excellent project management capability. Smelling skills – Olfactory abilities to identify and differentiate fragrance types. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to present to large groups of people. Regular local travel (daytrips), possible international travel

5+ years’ experience in fragrance industry 5+ years of experience in account management, marketing, product development Bachelor’s Degree Financial concepts / processes: i.e. pricing, margin, forecasting, statistics and IT systems. Proficient in Power Point and Excel with strong to advanced knowledge of programs.-
