Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of Chattanooga is East Tennessee’s premier veterinary provider of emergency and specialty services. Our highly trained and compassionate team provides advanced veterinary services including 24-hour Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Oncology, & Internal Medicine. 

We invest in our team; your success is our success We are currently seeking an Emergency Technician/Assistant for our ER department with a broad skill set, strong work ethic, and a quick mind to help manage our emergency caseload. Hours are Monday – Thursday 7A-5P.
Here is What Your day May Consist of:
  • Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture 
  • Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral) 
  • Assists with radiographic procedures 
  • Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing  
  • Provide care to hospitalized patients  
  • Manage invoicing of patients 
  • Client communication and education 
  • Admitting and discharging patients 

Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience are required
  • License certification preferred, but not required
  • Externship experience preferred, but not required
