Opportunity for Subcontract Administrator

General Overview: Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in managing the lifecycle of company subcontracts. We are seeking a skilled Subcontract Administrator to support our Supply Chain operations and ensure the seamless sourcing of materials, equipment, and services critical to our organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and other company stakeholders to:
    • Assist in preparing requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluating subcontractor proposals, and contributing to cost proposals.
    • Negotiate, administer, and oversee complex subcontracts, high-value procurements, and service agreements within specified parameters.
    • Handle negotiations and execution of NDAs, TAs, and other contractual documents.
    • Provide direct subcontract support, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policies.
    • Proactively anticipate and address issues related to product quality, cost, schedules, and technical performance.
    • Monitor project status and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
    • Manage subcontractor modifications and process invoices efficiently.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement process improvements, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion in decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in manufacturing or Department of Defense (DOD) industry preferred.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint or other ERP systems preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of FAR, DFAR, ITAR, UCC, and INCO terms, with familiarity in Government contracting principles.
  • Strong knowledge of subcontracting types, measures, and strategies.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workload, meet deadlines, and produce quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in research and data analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
