Role:

The Supply Chain Analyst will support key aspects of supply chain operations by leveraging data-driven insights to improve processes, optimize inventory, and enhance overall operational efficiency. This role requires an analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of supply chain principles. The Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations, contributing to continuous improvements in the supply chain process.

Support Supply Chain Operations

  • Perform inventory management tasks, including inventory reviews, stocking program recommendations, return analysis, and ensuring compliance with stocking agreements.
  • Develop service reporting metrics and assist with customer forecasting to ensure alignment of inventory with demand.
  • Manage inventory programs, ensuring compliance with contracts and data integrity, and tracking performance across various business units within the segment.
  • Ensure that these processes are standardized and effectively implemented across other business units (BUs) within the segment.
  • Assist with Customer Logistics Management duties, including data cleansing, running reports, and building dashboards to enhance visibility and accuracy of contract and supply chain data.

Analytical and Reporting Functions

  • Generate detailed analytical reports to provide insights into inventory levels, supply chain efficiency, and service levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to review inventory trends and performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvement.
  • Build dashboards and key performance indicator (KPI) reports that track critical supply chain metrics, including inventory turnover, fill rates, and on-time delivery.

Strategic and Project Work

  • Contribute to strategic project work, acting as a key team member on future Supply Chain Planning (SCP) implementations by providing data insights and process support.
  • Support efforts to turn around underperforming facilities, working to improve service levels, optimize scheduling practices, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
  • Assist in cross-functional projects focused on improving mill service or scheduling outcomes, applying data analysis to drive process improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, operations, and sales, to ensure the alignment of supply chain initiatives with business objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between supply chain and other departments to ensure that data-driven decisions support operational efficiency and customer service goals.
  • Collaborate with various business units within the segment to ensure the successful implementation of supply chain initiatives across the organization.

Competencies Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, operations, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or other data management software.
  • Experience with Customer Logistics Management, inventory management, and stocking programs is highly desirable.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with SCP software, inventory management, and forecasting processes.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP and supply chain management software is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
