You will work with other legal analysts to develop transactional content for the markets served by Bloomberg Law. You will leverage your legal experience to recommend, design, and run cross-team projects to create guidance and analysis that relates to your area of transactional focus. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing the transactional content roadmap. Your area of transactional experience should include some or all of the following areas:

•Contract review: drafting commercial clauses and agreements.
•Industry areas: privacy, SaaS, cloud, AI (including generative AI), tech transactions, intellectual property licensing, services, and/or general commercial law.
•Risk Assessment: analyzing legal risk and drafting contracts and clauses to mitigate those risks.
•Awareness: current on laws, regulations, and trends in commercial law and in the tech industry.
•Contract management: experience with systems for efficient contract management.

What you will do:

·Design, draft, and curate practical guidance in your area of subject matter expertise that assists legal practitioners, both in terms of substance and workflows, to undertake their work more efficiently and to learn new areas efficiently.

·Author analysis of legal market trends that is data-drivenand leverages your legal expertise, in order to provide insights to lawyers that improve their understanding of legal developments. 

·Scope and manage team projects to develop technology-enhanced tools and content for the legal market.

·Mentor and train more junior team members, while providing continuous project and performance feedback to peers and supervisor.

·Collaborate within and across teams to develop, curate,and maintain unique content and analysis ideas.

·Engage in thought leadership through interactions with law school, law firm, government, and corporate leaders, as well as participation at industry conferences and events, webinars, and social media.

·Communicate and collaborate with Bloomberg Law sales, customer experience, and marketing teams to inform internal stakeholders of major content initiatives and to facilitate a cycle of feedback and new content ideas directly from the customers.

You need to have:

·Bachelor’s degree required. JD required.

·7+ years’ experience practicing law, with 4+ years of commercial transactions experience.

·Demonstrated experience and success in developing and executing workflow solutions to solve customer problems in the legal, professional, or financial markets.

Candidates may be required to pass a test for this position.
