Job Description

Summary:

Our Client is Seeking to add a Technical Claim Specialist to their remote team. This position requires strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. The candidate must have proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft office products. A successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as in a fast-paced group environment, prioritize and handle fluctuating workloads. Approximately 35% of the Technical Specialist’s time is dedicated to travel and can vary.


General responsibilities may include:

Inspect risk, assess damage and accurately complete all phases of adjusting procedures with conclusion of properly indemnifying our insured according to the coverages provided by the specific policy. Review new losses, examine coverage, makes initial contacts and resolve coverage issues. Conduct on-site aircraft accident investigations and survey aircraft and property damage. Correspond with policyholders, claimants, witnesses and attorneys. Prepare reports on claim activity identifying issues, evaluate and recommend solutions. Manage claim file inventory. Analyze subrogation opportunities and assist with the salvage process.

Requirements:

3-5 years of claims experience required. Previous aviation insurance or risk management experience is preferred. Pilot’s license is a plus. 4-year degree in an aviation related field is preferred.
