Associate Designer, Full Time, Easton PA

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting in executing graphics, visual merchandising and marketing programs that support strategic marketing, branding and consumer objectives under the direction of a Senior Designer and Creative Design Manager. This role must adhere to print production and legal standards for both domestic and international packaging.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with developing package graphics by adhering to established brand, franchise and business segment standards Adhere to development schedules/timelines as outlined by the Creative Design Manager and the Creative Project Managers Apply multiple languages to packaging for international markets Prepare print ready files for production Ensure file accuracy & data integrity Complete all pre-press and all technical deliverables Willingness to take ownership of jobs and projects Ability to professionally communicate across departments Willingness to learn new processes and grow professionally with a team Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment with creative and production minded associates. Positive and energetic while executing rigorous deadlines.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field or an Associates degree with years of graphic design experience. Experience designing packaging graphics and related print projects Portfolio demonstrating design excellence, layout, color and aesthetic judgment Strong computer skills and virtual workflow (MAC platform) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Familiarity with multiple design disciplines (print, interactive, photography, illustration, packaging, product design) a plus Demonstrates illustration skills a plus
