Job Description:

Fusion Technology is seeking a skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex electronic security systems, including closed-circuit camera systems and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement electronic security systems, including CCTV and access control systems
  • Interpret specifications and requirements, and prepare requests for information (RFIs) as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints and system wiring schematics
  • Assist project managers in planning and scheduling work packages
  • Work closely with engineers and project managers to modify or change designs as needed
  • Modify, update, and prepare red-line and as-built drawing sets
  • Provide project status updates to project managers and team leaders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure and architecture
  • CCNA or CompTIA Security+ certification recommended
  • AutoCAD a plus
  • Associate-level vendor-specific certification preferred (e.g., intrusion detection, CCTV, or access control systems)
