OverviewThe Hilton University of Florida Conference Center, a distinctive property with 248 guest rooms and 25,000 sq ft of meeting space, seeks a Group Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a results-oriented professional with a passion for the hospitality industry.In this role, you will:Oversee and optimize our sales systems (Delphi.fdc)Analyze business intelligence to identify and execute revenue-generating initiativesDevelop and manage social media strategy to engage customers and build brand awarenessManage group room blocks and function space to maximize utilization and revenueBuild and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communicationPartner with the Director of Sales and Catering to secure new business and manage existing accountsAssist with day-to-day sales operations and ensure accurate communication across departments QualificationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales, with a focus on group businessProven track record of exceeding sales goals and generating new businessStrong analytical skills and experience with business intelligence reportingExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hospitality sales systems
