Regional Marketing Manager North America

The purpose of this exciting role is to increase market presence, grow brand awareness, and ensure an optimised, harmonised customer experience across the entire customer journey, as we rapidly expand our presence in North America. With a growth hacking mindset the focus is on experimentation, creative strategies, and leveraging data to achieve significant growth in a short amount of time.

The role is to be responsible for rolling out strong lead generation strategies and tactics to ensure our commercial team has a continuous pipeline of SQL to meet our ambitious targets and drive revenue. You divide your prospects and MQLs into segments based on demographics, behavior, or interests, to tailor your nurture campaigns to the specific needs and preferences of each group, increasing effectiveness.

Whilst ensuring a fit-for-purpose market positioning and value proposition, you accelerate the development of sales and marketing material, presence at relevant events, and partnerships and sponsorships with key stakeholders.

As part of the global Regional Marketing team the role works closely with the different specialist teams within the HQ Marketing teams and also with the local team in the US. The role will ensure all activities are aligned to the global strategy, implementing relevant campaigns and tactics.

Key responsibilities

Marketing strategy (collaborate with central marketing)

  • Creation (or: support) and implementation of regional marketing strategy aligned with the local commercial strategy and global marketing strategy and effectively manage the budget within the supervision of the Global Marketing Director
  • In collaboration with global and local partners/agencies you further develop and execute our marketing strategy and plan for 2024 and beyond
Lead generation, nurturing and automation
  • Together with the Marketing Operations team drive on creating and executing paid advertising and lead nurturing campaigns to drive our commercial efforts
  • Create a transparent environment between sales and marketing ie. how marketing is contributing to quality lead generation, nurturing and revenue
Content marketing
  • Content management on our digital channels: localize regular centrally produced content for your region; develop content to meet local business requirements
  • Social media management; writing copy and posting cross-channels
  • Regional newsletter program management and maintenance
  • Ensure all deliverables are on-brand
Customer engagement through Events & Sponsorships
  • Ensure roll out and implementation of central approach and deliverables for all events (ensure all deliverables are on-brand) working closely the HQ Events team
  • Manage (media) partnerships and drive new opportunities
  • Localize centrally produced content for the Top Employers Certification announcement across our different media channels
  • Production of online & offline events, in close collaboration with our central team
Key Success Competencies

Qualification Criteria
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing or a related field
  • Working experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role, within B2B
  • Experience with marketing automation and campaign management is a must
  • Previous experience in social media management and digital marketing
  • Previous experience with organizing local and regional events (online and offline)
  • Previous marketing experience in the HR field is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Residing in the NY area
