Our client, a nationwide distribution company, is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for a great 3rd Shift Direct Hire opportunity at their location in King of Prussia, Pa.

Hours: 6:00pm - 2:30am, M-F

Pay Rate: $22 / hour to start

Location: King of Prussia, Pa

The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for the processes employed in identifying, tracking and handling stock and nonstock inventory. The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for continuous improvement, which includes identification and mitigation of weaknesses in the processes, policies, and working with other departments to plan and implement improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all stock, nonstock and returned items are logged into our system and put in the proper location in the warehouse.
  • Investigate and address any material discrepancies that might negatively impact customer orders.
  • Ensure items are stacked and handled correctly.
  • Perform regular inspections of aisles and locations for conformance to inventory management.
  • Participate in predicting, planning and implementation of new inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure that items that are out of place are reported and returned to their proper location.
Job Requirements:
  • Must have one year of relevant inventory control experience
  • Must be able to pass a background check, physical and drug screen
  • Must have reliable transportation since the position ends at 2:30AM
  • Must have knowledge of basic mathematical equations
