Coordinator Infection Prevention & Employee Health, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital United Health Services is seeking a Coordinator Infection Prevention & Employee Health to join our Infection Control 03 department at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, NY. This position is benefits eligible. Shift Day Hours per week: 40 Salary range: $19.34 - $27.08 per hour, depending on experience. Overview Improves the care and services provided to all CMH customers by providing direct support and assistance in Infection Prevention, and Employee Health. This role is instrumental in the front line and first contact for Infection Control and the Employee Health departments. Position assists with supporting Infection Control Education opportunities and encouraging compliance with regulatory requirements. Supports the organization by capturing, analyzing, and reporting data and other information based on the requirements of regulatory agencies and CMH policies. Qualifications Education/Experience Minimum Required: + Associate’s degree in related field or 5 years’ related experience, including infection and disease control methods. + 3 years’ experience in a Healthcare setting Preferred: + Bachelor’s degree or higher + 3-5 years’ experience in a hospital setting + Knowledge of quality/performance improvement principles and practices + Lean Six Sigma Experience License/CertificationMinimum Required: + Not Applicable About United Health Services United Health Services is a not-for-profit healthcare system serving more than 500,000 people in Upstate New York’s Southern Tier region.
