What You'll Do

You will be leading and driving strategic initiatives within the Security Incubation Sales arm of the Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO). Security Incubation Sales is the GTM organization accountable and responsible for driving pipeline and sales within the GSSO. This is an incredibly exciting role in one of the fastest growing areas of Cisco’s overall portfolio and one that is critical to Cisco’s company transformation into software, subscription and recurring offerings.

In this role you will,

Operationalize the Go-to-Market Motion: Be responsible for determining how we deploy resources and how this team intersects with the broader Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) and Cisco Account Managers. Accelerate the Go-to-Market Sales Model: Cisco is on a transformative journey to move from hardware and perpetual business and consumption models to software, subscription revenues and SaaS. This role will require continued thought leadership and potential refinement of the model as we take new products to market. Working across teams: The products within Security Sales Incubation portfolio will mature and be integrated into the great suites and solution offerings across Cisco. You will support the global sales teams and product business units in enabling the journey of the product as an introduced product to a fully integrated offering that will be sold across Cisco. Achieve Financial Performance Expectations: Exceeding your bookings goal (by geography, architecture and vertical) is critical as is having an in-depth knowledge into your numbers (customer insights, macro/micro trends, consumption models). You will be responsible for managing your OPEX goal and maintaining strong forecast accuracy. Drive Customer Adoption: It’s important we make our customers wildly successful with our products and services. In this role you’ll partner closely with Customer Success and Renewals to ensure our customer not only adopt but see long term success with Cisco.

Who You Are:

Our minimum requirements for this role:

10 - 15 years senior management experience, should possess both sales leadership and cross functional/general management experience 10+ years in management roles selling solutions to senior executives at large accounts

Desired Skills:

10+ years in high caliber security organization in a sales environment is preferred Demonstrated track record managing significant revenue responsibility and or profit/loss center and overachieving targets to meet stretch goals Demonstrated ability to drive substantial growth for new product introduction and or incorporate acquisitions into an established selling motion. Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally. Adept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goals. Strong executive presence, polish, and political savvy Strong leadership skills in coaching and developing a sales organization for 100+ people Excellent communication skills and ability to persuade -- using simple communications that convey complex concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way. Demonstrated ability to build and lead in a matrix-managed team culture.
