Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including requirements, specifications, process flows and procedures to ensure all process are designed to meet DCAA, audit and security practices
  • Develop policies, guidelines and standards for the administration and management of the company’s Finance Systems Manage interfaces between the company’s Finance systems and other dependent systems
  • Create change control procedures and processes
  • Work with Database and System Administrators along with other technical SMEs to monitor system performance and processing, troubleshoot performance issues, investigate critical system errors, capture traces, and analyze server logs
  • Evaluate scenarios, and work with user community to devise and execute various test plans including unit, system, regression, UAT and integration
  • Configure and maintain Unanet System Admin Module
  • Act as functional SME for all Unanet modules, such as: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, project setup, cost revenue, billing, employee, labor, payroll, compensation, personnel, cost pools, fixed assets, procurement, etc…
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the front end application screens, functions and job processing and how these tie to the database tables and other applications, functions and processes
  • Develop training material and deliver training as required for new functional employees using Unanet
  • Manage user setup, security, printing, file management, job management, and workflow for Unanet system
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of hands on experience in with a financial/accounting tool in the GovCon marketplace
  • Effectively collaborate with colleagues in accounting, FP&A, contracts, compliance, to design/maintain the Unanet GovCon ERP and associated policies and procedures. 
  • Prior financial system implementations would be a big plus
  • CPA is a plus
  • Six Sigma Certified a plus
  • Change manager agent
  • Facilitator/Collaborator
  • Prior Unanet experience is a plus
  • Ability to research, determine relevance, organize and formulate recommendations involving complex financial information and systems pertaining to Unanet
  • Advanced Excel skills a must
  • Ability to work in a deadline oriented environment is essential
  • Ability to adapt to changing work efforts, manage the impact of shifting priorities, and resolve technical/functional emergencies as they occur.
  • Experience with Cognos and TM1 is a plus
  • Experience working with IT security audits
  • Ability to articulate financial information and policies to senior leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is desired
  • Proven experience in analyzing financial data as well as financial reporting and forecasting is a plus
  • Prior experience in a federal government contracting environment with DCAA and DCMA audits
