Job Description Indy Suburban Regional Position to cover IU Health North, IU Health West, IU Health Saxony and IU Health Tipton PGY2 Residency in Infectious Disease or equivalent experience preferred Monday-Friday, No weekends Role is to support Antimicrobial Stewardship Services in collaboration with Pharmacy, Providers, Regulatory, and QualityThis position exists to provide comprehensive, value based, medication-related care to achieve definite outcomes that improve a patient's quality of life. The incumbent acts in collaboration with healthcare professionals in the shared responsibility for patient drug therapy outcomes. Key job duties may consist of ensuring safety and effectiveness of the medication use process, processing and dispensing medications per order or prescription, medication therapy monitoring, regulatory compliance, maintaining oversight over pharmacist extenders, maintaining the security of medications, and protecting the confidentiality of patient information. Additionally, is competent at providing drug information support for medical staff, ensuring continuity of care, and identifying potential challenges in common situations.•Requires current Indiana License or eligibility for Indiana licensure as a pharmacist.•Successful completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 and/or PGY2 pharmacy residency may be required.About Us Indiana University Health has nearly 40,000 team members, including more than 3,600 physicians and 1,200 advanced practice providers, and we're home to the largest nursing network in Indiana with more than 9,000 nursing team members at over 800 sites of care.
