Patients Services Representative, Full-Time Day Shift

ThePatient Services Representative is responsible for greeting patients with asmile, answering the phone, entering information into the database, and generalclerical and hospitality duties. In this position, it is imperative you areable to consistently maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor and makepatients always feel welcome. Ability to multi-task is a must.
Qualifications required
• 2-4 years' relevant experience with financialbackground preferred.
• Knowledge and skills regarding all generaloffice equipment including computers, Microsoft Office, telephones, copier, andfax.
• Ability to perform multiple taskssimultaneously, and to prioritize multiple demands effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills and customerservice is required.
Essential Jobfunctions and responsibilities
• Preparesall internal and external reports as required by Federal/State/Local agenciesin a timely manner.
• Ensurecompliance with all local, state and federal laws, regulations and ordinances.Participates in onsite inspections by State and Federal Surveyors. Completesall required ESRD Network, Crown-Web, NHSN, OSHA and Workers Compensationsreports.
• Ensuresthat the facilityâ€'s physical plant, including all equipment housed therein(whether owned or leased) is adequately maintained as required by Federal law.Maintain standard service agreements and contracts, e.g. waste disposal,cleaning, as appropriate.
• Implementemergency procedures as necessary.
• Maintainsa general knowledge of all central and chairside equipment and ensure thatroutine preventative maintenance procedures are followed.
• Participatesin all personnel activities, including, but not limited to compliance withpolicies and procedures.
• Ensuresquality patient care through implementation of policies and procedures,including, but not limited to, patient care plans, medical records, qualityassurance, facility audits and monthly infection control audits. Participate inongoing training. Coordinated all medical, dietary and social services.
• Follow all company policies.
• Encourage a work environment which is friendlyand respectful.
• Provide patients and their family with acustomer focused, friendly, reassuring, and open environment which encouragespatients to come back to The Colony ER Hospital.
• Member of the CODE Team and be an activeparticipant in Code Blue Training.
• All otherduties as assigned.
