Manages all journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly and quarterly reporting. Prepares financial analysis and metric tracking for operations. Inventory, cost, and manufacturing accounting subject matter expert.This position can be located in our Downers Grove, Lanark, or Savanna, IL facilities.Key AccountabilitiesProviding financial analysis and guidance for the plant manager and leadership teams at the facilityPeriodic forecasting - account level and labor efficiency forecast development at each locationCapital projects - performing analysis on advisability of expenditure via ROI calculations. Ensuring that proper documentation is provided to expenditure committee.Work with plant manager to conceive, analyze, and drive to completion all profit overachievement opportunitiesResponsbile for setting and maintaining standard costs.Provide counsel on inventory levels at plant and associated exposure riskActively support the physical inventory counts and cycle countsPeriod end activities for operations including direct labor and overheadReport on monthly plant performance/variances to all business partnersServe as key member of leadership teams at the facilities.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related discipline required.5+ years of cost accounting and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment required.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including intermediate to expert Excel skills; experience working with large data sets; able to manipulate and organize effectively and efficientlyKnowledge and experience in ERP or MRP business system, with Oracle experience preferredStrong business acumen.
