* Identify key personnel within organization with high degree of influence. * Identify potential share gains by customer, product and geographical area. * Execute on new specifications for Crane products by demonstrating value of these products. * Drive product sales through customer, dealer, and fleet presentations, sales calls and promotional activities, using a CRM tool to update progress. * Maintain a strong and positive customer relationship through timely and consistent communication with the customer. * Service and support current business at trailer and truck body OEMs, dealers and fleets within district. Ensure that customers needs are met, and that complaints and other issues are resolved in a fair and timely manner. * Submit weekly highlights through CRM and provide other reports in a clearly worded and timely manner. Provide pertinent end market information to Manager or other appropriate personnel through proper use of CRM. * Regularly update and maintain customer correspondence in CRM including weekly highlights, opportunity sales funnel, call planners and upcoming tasks with customers. * Understand the variances and drivers impacting the business. * Attend industry trade shows and customer events. * Bachelors Degree * Ability to effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, customers, supervisors, customer service, and technical organizations in a positive and objective manner. * 3 years professional selling experience. Experience with transportation market and/or selling to OEMs preferred. * Overnight travel 25%-50%. * Ability to plan, schedule and organize work priorities and objectives with minimal supervision. * Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce or similar CRM software. Experience with a structured sales process, Miller Heiman experience a plus. * Experience with specification or other pull through sales efforts
