As the Senior UiPath RPA Developer, you will lead the development of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using UiPath. As part of a lean Enterprise Application team, you will be responsible for the UiPath application, including the support of existing RPA bots and the deployment of new ones. You will also be responsible for the majority of the RPA development lifecycle, including designing, building, testing, documenting, and deploying robust and scalable RPA solutions. Collaborating with non-IT business users to understand their needs and translate that to an RPA design is also crucial. Once vetted with the business and head of Enterprise Applications, you will build, test, and document the solutions. Finally, you will get to work with the business users to train them on how to interact with the RPA automation, as well as how to identify and resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation using RPA.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure successful deployments.
  • Transform non-technical, business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Efficiently architect, design and implement end to end UiPath RPA solutions for a variety of business scenarios using UiPath Studio.
  • Develop using reusable "building blocks" that can be applied to future bots.
  • Integrate RPA solutions with existing IT infrastructure and applications.
  • Debug bots by reviewing configuration files, logs, and code to determine breakdown sources and options for remediation.
  • Utilize SQL to interact with databases and extract data for RPA workflows.
  • Develop and maintain robust exception handling mechanisms for RPA solutions.
  • Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing of RPA solutions.
  • Document RPA solutions, including end user training and error handling procedures.
  • Monitor the RPA solutions once running in Production and collaborate with this business owners on future improvements and optimizations.
  • Monitor the latest trends and advancements in RPA technologies and collaborate with the head of Enterprise Application on their future potential.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in software development or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in developing and implementing RPA solutions using UiPath, specifically:
    • Cloud based version of UiPath with locally hosted VMs
    • Long-Running Workflow Knowledge
    • Document Understanding Action Center
    • Application Ownership (Security Roles, License Management)
  • Strong expertise in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robot.
  • Proven experience in developing reusable and maintainable RPA workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with Infrastructure and Security resources to resolve errors that arise from infrastructure patching, security changes, and application updates
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience in interacting with databases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work in an energetic, fast-paced environment build new automations as part of an experienced technology team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • UiPath Advanced Developer Certification (UiARD)
  • Computer Science experience, ideally with an understanding of .NET and/or C# is preferred
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Prior experience develops bots that interact with Finance systems such as SAP
  • Experience working for a publicly traded company subject to external audits
  • Experience building bots that interact with SAP ECC, SAP BPC, and SQL databases
  • SQL Basic Query Skills is a primary and Advanced Query skills
  • Azure DevOps Code Repository Management
  • Power BI report Building from SQL Data
