We are seeking new team members in the role of Organ Perfusion Specialists to expand our ability to honor every donor organ by transforming the future of medicine together. Successful candidates must first and foremost strongly resonate with the 4 core values that are at the heart of everything we do at Revalia: Cultivate Deep Trust Adapt Relentlessly Persevere with Uncommon Grit Be a World-Class Collaborator The Organ Perfusion Specialist undertakes a variety of laboratory procedures of technical nature. The position requires receiving research organs donated to Revalia and preparing those organs for perfusion experiments. The position also includes the operation of sensitive perfusion and point-of-care laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in clinical or clinical adjacent settings. He/She/They will be well-trained to maintain safety conditions and will be passionate for doing work to advance biomedical innovation. The Organ Perfusion Specialist will be responsible to take call (5, 6-hour shifts) Monday – Friday and 1 in 3 weekend call (2, 12-hour shifts) year-round. Additionally, the position will be responsible for executing assigned perfusion chores (e.g. blood washing, sample stabilization). opportunity for growth and skill development Proven experience as Lab Technician, Emergency Medical Technician,

Clinician or relevant position Experience in operating standard laboratory equipment, point of care

tests, and biohazardous materials HSE Systems, preventative measures and laboratory best practices Excellent physical condition and endurance Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database

systems Ability to work autonomously and under pressure Undergraduate Degree in Biology or relevant field Responsibilities

Receive training to conduct perfusion procedures on human lungs, livers, kidneys Learn surgical techniques and human anatomy while assisting surgeons with organ benching Operate clinical grade perfusion equipment Collect processing blood, biopsy, and urine/bile samples to build a one-of-a-kind database of isolated human physiology Test new lead assets in relevant human disease models Organize and store all chemicals substances and fluids according to

safety instructions Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and

electronic) with accuracy and responsibility Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times
