The AVP, Float Branch Manager and Administrator works to bring customer service, relationship engagement, onboarding efforts, marketing efforts, product development, and community support together to create a cohesive, comprehensive, and superior customer experience. This position will fill in for all branch managers performing all branch manager functions in the absence of the designated branch manager at that branch. Additional duties will be to assist the VP, Retail Banking Director with various projects and initiatives to achieve growth, profit, operational efficiency, and customer service objectives. Collaborates with management team to create consistency and improve daily processes. Work with the VP, Learning and Development to ensure consistency and standards throughout the branch network.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of financial products and services.
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of and the ability to apply and train in laws and regulations such as USA Patriot Act, bank secrecy act, Reg D, etc.
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Ability to speak clearly using good diction to communicate with members and other employees in person and on the phone.
  • Proficient computer skills relevant to Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must possess a professional demeanor including business attire, courtesy, tact, and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands and requirements.
  • Successful completion of in-house training programs or other approved training programs
  • Compliance with BSA regulations as appropriate to the position
  • Travel as necessary to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Required Experience

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent banking experience
  • 5 years bank management experience
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring and supervising employees.
  • Extensive background in financial institution operating policies and procedures, banking regulations and employee development
