Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNRG USA is seeking an administrative assistant for the pharmacy of a large healthcare organization. This is a part time position 3 full shifts per week or 5 1/2 days.
Clerical and Administrative Responsibilities
  • Preparation of correspondence, reports, and various routine paperwork.
  • Maintenance of departmental record keeping and filing systems, including personnel files, payroll, attendance, work and purchase orders.
  • Receives and screens calls and visitors to Pharmacy Management.
  • Maintains departmental and manager’s calendars.
  • Opens, sorts, records and distributes mail daily.
  • Monitors and orders departmental supplies when needed.
  • Interface with hospital personnel from other departments.
  • Ability to use MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Maintenance of payroll records.
  • Understands and utilizes information in departmental reports.
  • Assumes ongoing responsibilities related to general office duties.
Inventory Management
  • Review and processes all invoices with Accounts Payable.
  • Reports and corrects billing issues, i.e. shortages, mispicks, etc.
  • Prepares and processes return of inventory overages for credit.
  • Maintains purchase orders and related records.
  • Contacts vendors for direct purchasing.
  • Arranges for disposal of outdated inventory.
