Northwest Family Law, P.S. is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney. The ideal candidate would have at least 4 years of family law experience.

We are an entrepreneurial family law firm that is on track for aggressive growth. We are known for building close relationships with our clients and helping them transition from extremely emotional and difficult situations. We develop and guide our clients through a strategic plan tailored specifically for them, empowering them and their future generations to rebuild the futures they desire. At Northwest Family Law, we also value our team as much as we value our clients. We provide the support our staff needs, with a focus on personal and professional growth. Mentorship opportunities, paid CLEs, and travel opportunities are offered.

You must be able to handle a full caseload, work independently, and zealously represent our clients both in and out of court.

Compensation

$150,000+ yearly

Responsibilities

  • Strategize, prepare for, and attend trial proceedings, mediation, and arbitration
  • Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions
  • Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts
  • Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and laws
  • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
  • Handle complex child custody disputes, including issues of domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health
  • Provide empathy and compassion for our clients, while also empowering them to take control of their own lives.

Qualifications

  • Must have worked on family law issues for at least 4 years.
  • Experience in King and Snohomish Counties strongly preferred.
  • Candidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high.
