Our Kirkland office is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Personal Injury Paralegal.

Job Description:
As a Personal Injury Paralegal at The Ledger Law Firm, you will play a key role in supporting our attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases. You will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting documents, and providing administrative assistance to ensure the successful resolution of our clients' claims.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and monitoring case progress.
• Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, medical providers, and insurance companies to gather information and evidence.
• Assist in the preparation of depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Coordinate with experts, investigators, and other professionals as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program preferred.
• Previous experience as a paralegal in personal injury law is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation related to personal injury cases.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach when interacting with clients.
