Responsibilities For The Accounts Payable Specialist
- Handle full cycle accounts payable processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review vendor statements and promptly investigate invoice discrepancies
- Prepare and execute check runs with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate with managers to resolve outstanding items and address vendor inquiries
- Foster effective communication and relationships with interdepartmental teams and external vendors
- Assist with month-end accounts payable procedures
- Perform monthly accounts payable reconciliations and post relevant journal entries to the general ledger
- Contribute to ad hoc projects within the accounting team as needed
- Minimum of 1+ years of prior experience in mid-high volume accounts payable
- Strong proficiency in intermediate Excel functions
- Proficiency in ERP systems with a solid understanding of their functionalities
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to detect discrepancies
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000, commensurate with experience
