All Jobs > Ocean Export Project CoordinatorDo you have a passion for organization, project management and customer service while performing with a results-driven operations team?Do you want to be part of a technology-focused logistics team that is part of a 'Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in the Nation' in 2023 and that gets excited over complex problem solving?Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesHandle ocean shipments from start to finish, including but not limited to: quoting, booking, issuing documents, reporting, billing, coordinating, handling export customs clearance (AES), and communicating with internal and external customersSupport the ICAT customer service initiative by providing a high level of customer satisfaction and operational proficiency to meet growth and profitability goals as well as providing customers with WOW experiencesFollow all domestic and international shipping regulationsFollow and meet all Company KPIs in billing, documentation, closing, etcPerform other emergent duties and projects requested in support of ICATs fast paced environmentRequirements Minimum 2 years ocean export projects experience with significant understanding of BB and OOG cargoHigh school education required and college degree preferredAble to foster accountability and commitment to achieve department goalsDesire and drive to learn and growOutstanding communication skills Excellent verbal and written with an emphasis on listeningExtremely well organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAble to plan and effectively set priorities for implementationAdvanced skills with Microsoft office productsAbility to work in a response-oriented industryAbility to build relationships with internal and external clientsAbility to anticipate and analyze problems, document issues and recommend solutionsAbility to relate to and successfully interact across a variety of settings and work well with a broad and diverse workforce throughout the organizationAbility to deal with a fast-paced entrepreneurial environmentPersonal CharacteristicsPossess a strong work ethic with a persistence in pursuit of objectivesUnderstands and responds to situations that require a sense of urgencyConsistent in follow-up and follow-throughCredible with a high level of personal integrityLoyal and dedicated to the success of colleagues and team membersOptimistic outlook toward all activities, able to transmit this optimism to othersWill naturally adopt ICATs core values and seamlessly assimilate into ICATs cultureWhy ICAT Logistics Detroit?
