Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Trial Home Care Nurse and make a difference in the lives of study patients. We are seeking a dedicated individual with current acute care or homecare experience and phlebotomy skills to work under the guidance of the principal study investigator and nursing management, providing nursing care and supporting clinical research protocols.

Job Description:

As a Clinical Trial Home Care Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of research studies. You will be responsible for administering investigational

medications/products,

conducting patient assessments, collecting vital information, and adhering to study protocols with utmost accuracy and ethics. Your expertise and caring nature will help us maintain compliance with each study's protocol and safeguard the well-being of study patients.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to research study patients, primarily in their homes. Ensure thorough review and documentation at each subject study visit, maintaining compliance with study protocols and local policies. Administer investigational

medications/products

as required and monitor patients for any side effects, promptly notifying the Principal Investigator of findings or issues. Perform medical tests, including vital signs, specimen collection, and

electrocardiograms,

and process or ship specimens per protocol. Adhere to clinical research policies, ensuring ethical conduct and protecting vulnerable populations. Hold active nursing licensure and maintain a high standard of nursing care throughout the research process.

Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited BSN or Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, including desirable clinical skills like phlebotomy, subcutaneous injections, ECGs, specimen collections, cannulation, and administration of intravenous therapies. BLS certification required. RN License required. Driver's License required. Experience and knowledge of working in clinical research trials with ICH-GCP (Good Clinical Practice) Certification (Training can be completed upon hire). Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate proficiency in computer usage and software applications. Flexibility and availability for a variable work schedule. Possess an unencumbered driver's license and a reliable vehicle for home visits.
