Apply today to join our organizationThe Level II Computed Radiographer is responsible for, but not limited to, the following job descriptions:Perform Level II CR inspections and other NDE inspections as specified with the Companys proceduresOperate and maintain Computed Radiography equipment, software, and hardware as per company requirements and manufacturers recommendationsEstablish and calibrate testing equipment and materialsCalculate, establish, and control the radiation areaApply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate resultsEvaluate and interpret product results to the code of construction or customer specificationsOrganize and report test resultsResponsible for producing quality radiographsAble to meet travel expectationsAble manage and complete any project durationCommunicating with customer/client representatives on daily basisResponsible for returning a completed product in accordance with applicable regulations and proceduresRequired to establish and manage all safety procedures and functions throughout a projectAble to train assistants efficiently in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, procedures and NVI, LLCs SNT-TC-1A written practiceEffective at meeting deadlines set forth by management or clienteleMaintain and promote a positive attitude while on projectsAny other assignment necessary to meet Level II responsibilities set forth by the CompanyQualificationsRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or G.E.D.Current Level II Computed Radiography certificationValid State Radiographers card or IRRSP cardA minimum of 80 hours of documented Radiography Level I and II trainingA minimum of 40 hours of documented Computed Radiography training16 hours of documented CR Software/Hardware training (GE/Waygate or VMI preferred)Familiar with applicable welding codes, i.e., ASME, API, AWS, etc.List of projects managed as a Level II Computed RadiographerValid U.S. driver's license and able to pass Motor Vehicle History EvaluationsAble to pass an FBI background verification in accordance with Companys Increased Controls programAble to pass the Companys Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies/proceduresAble to pass the Companys Level II Computed Radiography certification processPreferred Qualifications & Experience:ANST/ACCP Level II MT, PT, UTT Certifications, or documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceeds SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for methods of MT, PT, UTTAble to pass Companys Level II MT, PT and UTT certification processCompany Benefits:NVI offers full benefits including 401k including Employer Match, Health, Dental, Life, Disability and Vision InsurancesPaid HolidaysPaid Time Off after one year of employment
