Position Overview:
As a Helpdesk Coordinator specializing in basic hardware and software troubleshooting, you will serve as the first point of contact for technical support within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to provide efficient and effective assistance to end-users experiencing technical issues with their hardware and software systems. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve common technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. First-Line Support: Act as the initial point of contact for all technical support inquiries, providing timely and courteous assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues, including but not limited to desktops, laptops, printers, software applications, and operating systems.
  3. Issue Escalation: Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams or vendors while ensuring clear and concise communication with end-users throughout the escalation process.
  4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical support inquiries, troubleshooting steps taken, and resolutions provided in the helpdesk ticketing system.
  5. Training and Guidance: Provide basic technical guidance and instructions to end-users on how to resolve common technical issues independently, promoting user empowerment and self-sufficiency.
  6. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to end-users, empathizing with their concerns, and demonstrating patience and professionalism in all interactions.
  7. Follow-Up: Follow up with end-users to ensure that technical issues have been resolved satisfactorily and provide additional assistance or guidance as needed.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the helpdesk support workflow, contributing to the overall enhancement of technical support services.


Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
