At Daikin Applied, the Senior Software Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing test cases and testing strategies for Daikin Controls products to deliver high-quality HVAC products and solutions. They will be responsible for providing automation testing expertise and oversight and will play a role in providing guidance and leadership for the DVT team. A Day in the Life: Creating test plans, and procedures to evaluate the software performance and operation Building software testing programs that automate testing processes Running the software testing procedures to evaluate the software Documenting all testing procedures Reporting bugs and making recommendations to improve the software product Collaborating with test engineers, software programmers, and other team members Retesting software after bugs are fixed to ensure the program works properly Attending meetings with the development team, clients and other groups What's in It For You: Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, PTO, 401K match, support for community involvement and much more The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best What you will Bring: Minimum Education bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of work experience preferably in software or hardware testing Working knowledge of Agile development practices and Azure DevOps Working experience with software test tools and processes, building and testing frameworks, and consumer-facing applications and APIs Excellent English communication skills advanced both written and spoken.
