Description

Patient Placement Center Nurse supports care for Providence St Joseph Health (PSJH) patients by evaluating and coordinating the patient intake process. He/she will be involved in taking and triaging calls, and facilitating inbound and outbound transfers for PSJH facilities. In this role, he/she will act as a liaison between physicians, hospitals and other care providers who seek to refer, schedule admission or transfer patients into the hospital.

Required qualifications:

  • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
  • Minimum of 2-5 years nursing experience, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Epic and Bed management system
