Location: Plymouth, MI

What’s the Job?

  • Execute all aspects of physical design, including floor-planning, power grid design, and timing closure
  • Ensure design meets DFT requirements while maintaining physical design integrity
  • Configure for and pass rigorous physical verification processes
  • Perform design work on-site when required (e.g., classified projects)
  • Participate in project reviews and contribute to clear documentation
  • Mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge

What’s Needed?

  • 10-15 years of experience in ASIC Physical Design
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • US Citizenship is mandatory (due to contractual requirements)
  • Proven ability to achieve USG Secret security clearance (or no barriers to obtaining one)
  • In-depth experience with Synopsys EDA tools (Design Compiler, PrimeTime, etc.)
  • Strong scripting language skills (Perl, Shell, TCL, C)
