Description

Summary:

This position acts as a leader that performs operational audits to identify improvements for our processes independently. This includes participating in and providing feedback on the risk assessment.

Work Schedule:

  • Full Time (80 hours / pay period)
  • Days

Responsibilities:

  • Performs assigned operational audits. Participates in the annual risk assessment, identifies areas of risk to add to the plan. Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, evidence, circumstances and risk.
  • Lead audits. Plans the timing, scope, testing and reporting of the audit. Identifies and problem-solves obstacles, risks and issues.
  • Leads kickoff and exit meetings without Audit Leadership in attendance. Prepares written audit deliverables for stakeholders. Gives instructions to others, including answering staff questions.
  • Participates in initiatives while acting as a business consultant on complex issues. Sustains relationships with key audit and non-audit customers.


  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.


Requirements:
  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree.
    Required Licensure/Certification: None Required.
    Minimum Experience: 3 years of relevant experience
  • Preferred Certifications: CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) , CISA (Certified Information System Auditor)

The pay range for this position is: $36.19 - $54.28 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
