Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $38.75 an hour + $0.50 shift differential

In this position, you are responsible for the selection, installation, programming, documentation, and knowledge of all plant instrumentation and automatic devices. You will report to the Maintenance Manager. You will work at our Indianapolis Bakery plant, and earn $38.75 per hour. We have opening on both first and second shifts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • You will document and track production variables, downtime, product samples, and ensure proper blending of raw materials by weight or automatic metering systems.
  • You will follow and document the time and temperature points in recipe specifications to meet quality standards.
  • Actively support the ConAgra Performance System
  • Follow up with outside services.
  • Follow up on control work that has been done by Maintenance Technicians.
  • You will train team members on the operations of newly installed or modified process or utility control systems.
  • You will follow up with contractors to insure they turn over fully documented PLC programs of the systems they have worked on and that they provide training for all personnel involved in the area of concern.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • You should have 2 years of experience with; pressure controls, control circuits, programmable controllers, drive units, variable frequency drives, scales, monitoring systems, sensors and security systems in an industrial environment
  • Servo Motors and drives experience
  • Vision System Experience
  • PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Allen Bradley HMI troubleshooting experience
  • Auto CAD experience
  • Associates Degree

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sit, stand, walk and climb stairs frequently during time on duty
  • Lift/Carry/Push/Pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Reach overhead occasionally
