As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you'll play a key role in the Assembly & Distribution department, supporting the production and quality of subsea electrical equipment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver with a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems.
Job Title: Electro Mechanical Technician
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Range: $ 21-25/hr
What’s the Job?
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot subsea electrical components
- Perform leak testing, oil filling, and electrical testing of assemblies
- Operate a hyperbaric chamber for final product acceptance testing
- Assist with shop production and refurbishment activities
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical issues
What’s Needed?
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an oil and gas environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience with electrical test equipment and software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
