The International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) and American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR) seek a creative, flexible, detail oriented Membership & Registration Coordinator. This position is well suited for a mission driven, dynamic, high energy, and highly productive professional.
Responsible for communicating with IADR/AADOCR members and meeting attendees. IADR/AADOCR is seeking a candidate with a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite , specifically Excel, and experience working with an Association Management System. This position is designated as management-level “exempt” under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and reports directly to the Membership Engagement Manager.
IADR/AADOCR provide a hybrid work environment with 50% of the time at the office in Alexandria, Virginia.
The Membership & Registration Coordinator will routinely respond to and provide exemplary assistance in regard to membership, meeting registration, and general customer service inquiries.
- Provide information for inquiries about IADR/AADOCR membership, meetings, and other events.
- Process payments, data entry tasks related to membership, and registration.
- Review financial batches for accuracy.
- Stay informed on issues that impact visas for travel to the General Session and Annual Meeting.
- Manage printing and mailing of letters of invitations for meeting attendees.
- Work with badge printing vendor in preparation for the meeting to ensure the accuracy of the badge artwork, format, and printed badge.
- Onsite registration support during IADR/AADOCR meetings and other events.
- Ensure adequate registration-related supplies such as lanyard, badge holders, ribbons, stationary items, printed materials.
- Deliver exemplary customer service to members, meeting attendees, vendors, and staff members.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 1-3 years comparable work experience
- Excellent customer service and oral & written communication skills
- Proficiency with Association Management Systems (AMS), databases and/or data management
- Proficiency in all components of Microsoft Office
- Display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to travel 2-3 times per year (10% internationally)
