Position Summary:
Coordinates with surgical Nurse Operations Managers to ensure that the supply needs of Surgical Services are fulfilled.

Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
 Performs the materials management function for surgery.
 Responsible for managing and monitoring all disposable and reposable supplies used by the surgery department.
 Coordinates any product returns to vendors through materials management.
 Maintains the cleanliness and order of inventory areas including shelving, carts, and bins.
 Coordinates all physical inventory activities.
 Reconcile on a monthly basis the receipts and disbursements of inventory.
 Responsible for Implant Tracking data entry.
 Responsible for the departmental loaned/borrowed program on a daily basis.
 Obtains new supplies as requested by specialty staff.
 Reports all discrepancies from primary distributor on Orlando Health discrepancy report and faxes to distributor.
 Manages various human resources functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and performance counseling.
 Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
and local standards.
 Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Education/Training
Associates degree.
Licensure/Certification
Maintain current CPR certification.
Experience
 Three (3) years materials management or inventory control experience required, to include;
 At least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
