Job Overview:
The Quality Engineer will identify, initiate, lead, develop, assist, and support assurance and continuous improvement of quality that increases value through improving performance, product and process quality, safety, and cost in the Ripley plant.

Highlights of your role:
• Develops, Integrates, and conducts internal process and product audits of assigned product groups or support departments for compliance to prescribed quality system standard. Maintain all audit records and/or associated documentation.
• Develops and maintains the internal quality systems consisting of PFMEA, Control Plans, Standard Work Procedures, and Process checklists that are used to drive product and process quality of the department.
• Administer and perform true root cause analysis associated with both product and process failures with corresponding implemented corrective actions. Tool usage includes but is not limited to (Design of Experiments, Measurement System Analysis, 5-Why, Statistical Analysis, Process Auditing, Product Testing, and Dimensional Analysis).
• Perform process capability analysis on new/modified equipment.
• Maintain process documentation in alignment with ISO Standards.
• Assist in the integration of Engineering Changes / New Products.
• Execute Material Review Boards and Product Risk Assessments focused at delivering product that meets the expectations of our customers.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):
• Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• 2+ years of related experience in manufacturing engineering
• Knowledge of ISO/TS/Baldrige is a plus
• Must have a high level of communication skills, verbal and written
• Understanding of quality operating/management system as related to manufacturing
• Proficient personal computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, File Management, and SharePoint
• Experience in the following processes is an advantage: wood machining, vinyl extrusion, aluminum extrusions, plastic components, data acquisition, painting, coating
• Excellent project management skills
