Overview:
PURPOSE STATEMENT: 

The IT Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for building, establishing and managing the QA team – specifically the quality assurance process for our applications, ensuring the product achieves or exceeds the envisioned customer experience and meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.  Develop quality strategies for products and oversee the development and execution of test plans and analysis of test results.   Responsible for owning the quality of the product delivered by engaging closely in testing activities

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Develop and implement quality assurance strategy, processes, and procedures for applications. 

Create and maintain test plans and test cases for applications.  

Responsible for thorough testing of applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing.  

Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects.  

Define and track key performance metrics related to application quality.  

Maintain a deep understanding of the latest trends and best practices in application quality assurance. 

Coach and guide application teams on shifting left other best practices for early-stage testing and defect prevention. 

Collaborate with technical teams, business teams, and others to ensure applications meet customer needs and expectations.  

Lead and manage the application quality assurance team, providing guidance and support.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:  

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  

Minimum of 7 years of experience in application quality assurance.  

Strong technical skills in testing web-based and mobile applications.  

Experience leading and managing a team of quality assurance professionals.  

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.  

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  

Experience with testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JMeter, and Appium.  

Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
